Technical Specifications:
The SD BIOLINE HIV 1/2 3.0 is an immunochromatographic assay for the
qualitative detection of isotypes (IgG, IgM, IgA) antibodies to HIV-1
and HIV-2 including subtype O simultaneously in human serum, plasma or
whole blood. A volume of 10 micro liter of serum/plasma or 20 micro
liter whole blood is needed to perform the assay. This type of assay
requires no sophisticated equipment and can therefore be performed in
laboratories with limited facilities. Reading of the results can be done
visually.
Source of antigen: Recombinant HIV 1 (gp41, p24) and HIV2 (gp36)
Technology: Lateral flow, immunochromatographic assay.

Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture. Guaranteed minimum
