Colloidal Gold strip test for HIV (1/2) is an in vitro, visually read
rapid diagnostic test for the qualitative determination of antibodies to
HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum, plasma or whole blood. The test is
intended to be used as an aid to detect antibodies to HIV (1/2) from
infected individuals in vitro.
The test adapts the solid phase colloidal gold immunochromatographic
technology for the qualitative detection of antibodies to HIV-1/HIV-2.
This test is not able to discriminate between HIV-1 and HIV-2
