General Description:
Artesunate 50 mg tablets + Mefloquine 250 mg tablets, co-packed in
blister strips of 6+2 tablets, pack of 1

Technical specifications

Each uncoated tablet of Artesunate contains: Artesunate 50mg (as sodium
salt)
Each uncoated tablet of Mefloquine contains: Mefloquine base 250mg,
equivalent to 274mg Mefloquine hydrochloride salt.

Both tablets should be scored with at least one break line to allow for
division of tablets into two parts, each containing the same amount of
active ingredients.

Therapeutic class
Artesunate is water soluble sodium salt of the hemisuccinate ester of
dihydroartemesinin.
Mefloquine is a 4-methanolquinoline and is related to quinine.
